Man, it's so scary... I'm just.. so scared to even go onto that website now and thinking how I'm going to manage when I click on it a few days later. I'm also supposed to check at midnight where I live, when I have a Math mock the day after :P but.. screw the math mock :P for now. Reading this thread and seeing all the words that you guys have all typed out.. I can really feel that mutual sense of anxiety, hope and adrenalin running through us..

Anyhow, I can definitely say we have now officially developed a selective hearing to the word 'Brown'.

razalman and kiwitty - last year the time results were posted had nothing to do with whether or not people were accepted.....I've already stalked previous years' threads and it went deferred, accepted, deferred etc. I may be wrong, perhaps that's just when they wrote it. But it seems that a lot of people posted the results as soon as they got them.

Sexycani- CCers don't rep the normal Brown population. That score is WELLLL into their average range. Its almost at the top of the middle actually. If you don't get in, it will NOT be because of your SATs so dont worry :D
It could be worse! You could be me, trying to get in with a 1910 haha!

yeah its very true. i get so freaked out looking at these threads but i really have to tell myself that the majority of the people on cc are above average

Unfortunately i'm assuming that people who are rejected are less likely to come on cc to post their stats than those who are accepted, so the Results threads probably paint a somewhat generous picture of decisions... which is crazy because they already look.. well.. anything BUT generous. :(

Haha...we sold our souls to the best college ever!

I'll definitely post mine whether I get rejected or not, but let's all hope for the best! I would agree that people on this site are generally more excited/obsessed/knowledgeable about the schools they're aspiring to, so maybe that's another reason for the phenomenon too.
