Official Class of 2013 Early Decision Results Thread

Man, it's so scary... I'm just.. so scared to even go onto that website now and thinking how I'm going to manage when I click on it a few days later. I'm also supposed to check at midnight where I live, when I have a Math mock the day after :P but.. screw the math mock :P for now. Reading this thread and seeing all the words that you guys have all typed out.. I can really feel that mutual sense of anxiety, hope and adrenalin running through us..

Anyhow, I can definitely say we have now officially developed a selective hearing to the word 'Brown'.

-cross fingers-

GOOD LUCK ALL :)!!!!!!!

Good luck, everyone!

We will be admitted by Brown in ED :)

razalman and kiwitty - last year the time results were posted had nothing to do with whether or not people were accepted.....I've already stalked previous years' threads and it went deferred, accepted, deferred etc. I may be wrong, perhaps that's just when they wrote it. But it seems that a lot of people posted the results as soon as they got them.

GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!

I can't help noticing that nearly all the accepted applicants have higher SAT scores than I do. I guess 2200 was not enough :(

Sexycani- CCers don't rep the normal Brown population. That score is WELLLL into their average range. Its almost at the top of the middle actually. If you don't get in, it will NOT be because of your SATs so dont worry :D
It could be worse! You could be me, trying to get in with a 1910 haha!

lol yeah the ED decision thread from last year had a lot of more acceptances than deferrals and rejections

yeah its very true. i get so freaked out looking at these threads but i really have to tell myself that the majority of the people on cc are above average

Unfortunately i'm assuming that people who are rejected are less likely to come on cc to post their stats than those who are accepted, so the Results threads probably paint a somewhat generous picture of decisions... which is crazy because they already look.. well.. anything BUT generous. :(

Yeah the ED results thread is biased since posting is voluntary and it would attract people who were accepted. But it freaks me out anyways.

The people on CC are really dedicated to brown and the whole college thing so it's usually the better applicants

I promise to post my result, no matter what it is! For posterity.

I definitly will, no matter the results!

Ooh, are we making pacts now? I'm always up for a good pact. I'll post my results, too, no matter what. Pinky swear.

I'll post my results! Help out the class of '14ers haha

joins in pinky swear
i'll post it if rejected
...sigh....
dismal thought

alot of ppl were deffered last year
this year theyre gonna be trigger happy with the acceptances ( i hope)

good luck guys...this site depresses me someetimes but its awesome knoing were all bound by brown

Haha...we sold our souls to the best college ever!

I'll definitely post mine whether I get rejected or not, but let's all hope for the best! I would agree that people on this site are generally more excited/obsessed/knowledgeable about the schools they're aspiring to, so maybe that's another reason for the phenomenon too.

I love how there's already 58 posts in the decision post!

1 day 21 hours 15 minutes...
