Lima,

A few other CCers that applied to theater were also rejected. Looks like theater admission is brutal this year.

General Comments:
Ahhh I'm so excited!!

Whoa, so NU is deferring this year? I had no idea.

Congrats to everyone to was accepted, and good luck to the rest!

Post #16, last paragraph: Does the "no reapply clause" apply to a rejected ED student who applies RD to another school/college within NU (for example, rejected from theatre major in the School of Communications ED, but apply RD to WCAS)? It is possible that all 100 theatre slots were taken ED, therefore no reconsideration for a theatre major in the RD round, but spaces are open in the other schools at NU or in the RTF major in Communications.

General Comments: I AM SO EXCITED TO GO TO NORTHWESTERN!!

By the way, this list probably gave barely any of the reasons I actually got accepted, so if you're interested have a look at my chance thread: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/northwestern-university/609040-tis-season-chancing-poor-ed-applicants-who-really-freaked-out.html

[] Hook (if any): THIMUN is supposedly the largest international student conference in the world, so I guess that was a big part of it. I would say consistency with journalism overall. My counselor likes to talk about the "fit". Also, my experiences in journalism began at Northwestern's CTD program in 2001, and I emphasized that I want to continue there.

wow barely anybody is posting their stats... :/
does this mean many rejections or not many ppl on CC who applied to northwestern early?

We should get a Facebook group going. Anyone want to do it?
Although, I confess I suggest this out of laziness-- I'm tired of people asking me on my Wall what school I got into.

there's already one... Northwestern class of 2013 :)

so i applied ED at NU for theatre and i havent heard yet...
no email
nothing in the main
i got a confirmation email on Nov saying that they had everything
but still i havent heard a thing

would being in Canada have anything to do with it??

^you should've gotten an email on the 13th, if not, i would call the admissions office and ask them to send you another email or notify you of your decision.
