Official Class of 2014 CMU Decisions Thread

thanks pixel and bluetie!

Bluetie-
Haha, good guess but no. My username was just random =P.
Pretty sure I’m going to go into biology. (Possibly double major bio psych for pre-med track!)
fun fun fun…
Have you gotten into CMU/is it your first choice? :)

Calc, its my son, he has applied for CS…its a reach, but fingers crossed! CMU is THE place for CS.

Oh gosh, best of luck to him!!! :-)

i know it’s still a little early, but has anyone gotten their RD letter yet?

urgh, im so impatient…:-</p>

When do the RD letters come out? Or find out online?

Admissions officers say that letters will not go out until the last week of March.

soadquake981: Did they tell you that when you called? I was there recently and one of the Associate Directors of Admissions said that they would go out between March 15 to the end of the month. So, people could start hearing next week.

If they do go out starting on the 15th… let’s say the letter was sent between the 15~20th. Around which day would it arrive in SoCal?

Also, does CMU post the decision online in the “where am i process” site where you can check your application status?

Last time I checked, at the bottom of the page, it says that they letter will go out and decision will be online 3 days after. That way if there is a delay with the mail, you will be able to see online.

The majority of the people I know found out they were accepted online before mail.

Decisions are now posted online. Login to “where am i in the application process” Under college choices, your decision is posted.
