& i got my letter in the mail today!! :)

I’ve been waiting on my letter for over a week almost two. I just got an e-mail today saying that they made their decision (which I found out over a week ago online) and my letter should come in the next two weeks. Did your letter have scholarship info?

USAFA, USMA, USCGA, and Lafayette.

oh wow. i wonder why it took so long. cometstarg, they said that to me in an e-mail and i got my letter the next day, not in 2 weeks…so youll probably get it soon! and yes, i recieved the deans scholarship 13k a year.

oh nice dolci…which one is your first choice?

Hey guys!
I got accepted last week, & I just got my letter today :)

I hope it comes soon got the email friday and still waiting

@jerseyT, at this point I’m really starting to like Drexel a lot. Thinking about doing ROTC here, so I’d have to say Drexel is my number one right now.

oh cool. drexels my 2nd choice…what major are you going to take? or do you just solely stick to ROTC stuff?

The good news: I got the AJ Drexel Scholarship today in the amount of $19,000 a year.

The bad news: The scholarship tops out at $26,000 a year, and Drexel’s cost is $50,000 a year. There’s no way I will be attending after they gave me $7,000 less than the full award and since tuition is $50,000.

Good luck to everyone else! I hope the end of my road to Drexel will help pave someone else’s path!

^^ Good luck smartcookie. You are wise to consider the reality of heavy debt after graduation. You will do fine wherever you decide…good luck!

Son just got notification online today…no $$ letter yet but he already decided he won’t be attending Drexel. fyi…

smart.cookie, if I remember this right, they send the scholarship info before they send the financial aid info.

$19,000 is probably only part of their offer. There will probably be more, depending on your financial status and how much they want you (there are other special “Drexel grants”). You will get that picture when you get your award letter. They also will review your financial award if you show them the awards from other schools.

By the way, your scholarship of $19,000. is a great honor. Congratulations!
