@JRMAMA, My daughter logged into her account. It is at the top.

Congratulations! You have been offered a scholarship. Please complete Step 4 below.

Now there is step 4. Before, there were only three steps , third step being her school address.

Congratulations @jasmineRose! I’m sure that $2,500 will come in handy for all of those fist year expenses.

Son just got notified of corporate scholarship - $3000/year, renewable. Not bad!

If I remember correctly, however, he can’t accept both. Must go research. Let’s be honest, $2k is not much at a school like that. Though it is more than we had to start with.
Had to edit.

Margatroyd, I think he is obligated to take the $2500 award from NM Corp, I don’t think he can choose (someone else here can probably verify that). It is unfortunate because the award from NWestern is for more ($8K total). I am not familiar with NWestern’s policy on it, but some schools will make up the difference if your child is awarded a NM Corp scholarship, hopefully that is the case at NU.

Hmm. This is interesting info. My online perusal seems to back up not taking both. And interestingly, I secretly wondered if/hoped NU would make that

This is a fairly anonymous forum, but I’m a rule follower at heart. I’d suggest you read any letters you may receive carefully about who can know what info when…

Account locked due to several unsuccessful login attempts…I guess that’s what happens when you forget your username, password, and security questions all in a row, haha. Is there a physical letter we’ll be receiving in the mail soon? Congratulations to everyone who got the scholarships!

My D did not get the $2500 and unlikely getting anything else from the NMF unless she changes her mind and got to NU. But she did get a free lunch and was presented the certificate yesterday at school. She is very happy about that and the lunch was great.

billcsho- congrats on your daughter’s successes and your wonderful sense of humor! We are in the same boat, no $2500 award and DS is going to Notre Dame, a school with no NMF award (but the large merit award he got from them makes it a nonissue.) Congrats to all who received the NMF scholarship!

Did any of you get in with a c on your transcript
@natwhynot … I responded to you on the other thread, but I’ll summarize here. I think there’s a pretty good chance you’ll still advance with a single C on your transcript, but there’s no way anyone can give you a definitive answer. There have been SFs in past years that have had only one C and haven’t advanced, but there have also been a fair number with more than one C that have advanced. As hard as it will be, you’re going to have to wait until late January/early February to see whether you get a non-advancement letter or a congratulations letter from NMSC.
@Wolverine86 The cutoff score in my state was 213 so definitely anxious for February now and wishing it was a lower cutoff compared to some states’ 209s
