This whole thing is so confusing. I’m also one of the conditional pharmacy people left hanging. It just doesn’t seem fair for me to get nothing with a 1470 SAT (33 ACT).

I totally understand your feeling. The decision is in Pitt’s hands and hopefully good news will come your way.

It does seem that Pitt favors OOS students. The OOS tuition rate is almost triple what it would cost for my son to attend our state flagship. We certainly would not have sent him to Pitt without the scholarship as it would not have made sense financially.

On the facebook group for the class of 2014, someone posted under the pharmacy thread on the discussion board that conditional pharmacy students will be receiving scholarship notification last this year. He apparently called OAFA and asked about this. I guess this gives some hope to those still left waiting… :)

Thanks for the news pinknpreppy216- my d has been waiting for 2 months too. It’s not fun.

Does anyone know how the top 5% works for scholarships? I have a 35 ACT and am in the top 5.1% or something really close to 5%. Would I still be considered for full tuition?

No worries, pineapple4. Top 5% is suggested, and being in the top 5.1% is equally amazing. Plus, they will love your ACT score :)

pineapple: You’re definitely in the running. View the results thread and you’ll see lots of exceptions.
