Congratulations to all of you ! My son is a freshman this year in the Business School. He told us that he couldn’t see himself happier any place else. He likes everything about Pitt: the campus, general feel/environment, social, classes, professors… studies alot at Hillman Library and lives in Litchfield Tower A. He goes to different club meetings related his talent and enjoyment of playing of bass guitar. Also…pick up soccer games, frisbee, hanging out on nice days at Schenley Park. Enjoys going to the Panther football games… and tailgaiting. :-)

General Comments: I was also admitted to the Honors College and I also was accepted with a School of Nursing Graduate Guarantee (Provisional acceptance to any MSN or PhD program I wish to pursue)

If Pitt comes through with financial aid, I think I will most likely attend. I am amazed by the plethora of opportunities they offer!

Congrats smart.cookie!
“Provisional” acceptance? What are the provisions?

I think all the “guaranteed admissions” to grad school have provisions. For instance, the student has to maintain a specific GPA or above as an undergrad.

So far the provisions posted have been the same for every guarantee, 3.5. But I read that the med school one is 3.75 or 3.8…
