Same question to you…, when exactly you submitted your application and when you got your decision?

BTW, how they communicate the decision? Do they send email or post on website?

I submitted on oct 27th
n UofM conducted interviews at our school today
n thats where i got accepted

wait, iqbal, do you have to schedule an interview or do they ask if they could interview you?

Last night I checked Wolverine access and was found a view decision link (I had checked
WA earlier yesterday and the decision link was not there). I was stunned- I thought decisions were posted on Thursday or Friday only. I have been accepted to U of M!!!

I applied very early - everything was submitted in early September. I had an ACT of 28 and a borderline GPA of 3.7 because I blew my freshman year. I took the ACT again in September and my score increased to a 32. I fixed my grades sophomore and junior year and I took the hardest classes that I could. I have been really worried about whether I would be admitted. On Thursday, though, several friends were admitted with GPA’s, ACT scores and EC’s that were about the same as mine. I started to wonder about my application and I called the admissions department and spoke to a rep. She suggested that I send an email to the admissions rep for my area and ask about the status of my application. I did and the rep was great- explained that they had seen the new score and were almost done reviewing my application.

If you haven’t heard from U of M yet, hang in there! You might want to consider calling the admissions department or sending an email to your area rep. I’m not sure if it made a
difference in my case, but it can’t hurt! I am so excited!!! GO BLUE!!!

Wow!! Where is the bar for in-state student admissions?

iqbal-

Did you submit your application on the 27th or is that when you got your UM confirmation. I submitted on the 28th, but didn’t receive confirmation until Nov. 10, so just curious if I might receive a decision.

Are we sure he’s talkin about the Ann arbor campus.

I applied on the 30th of october. I am out of state. When will my decision likely be released to me?

good luck everyone! Go blue!!!

lol, we still have to wait like a week & a half…

haha I know, I just felt like messing around with the BB code lol

yep its the ann arbor campus
and my app was postmarked by 27th
i have no idea when they recieved
UmichAA came to our school since we are a public magnet and just admitted students
or rejected students after a couple of hours
called Decision 2010

^
Wow, were these ER rejected students? They probably had really low stats like everything on a 2.0 scale. I question this because I was recently deferred Nov 9th, cc stated that it is unusual and that only clear cuts get deferred so quickly. With that said I basically see my deferrel as a light rejection mainly due to the fact that they don’t give rejections to ER students.

Though then again your stats were decently below University of Michigan average and you were accepted so I can only imagine the students stats that were rejected, as they probably would also be clear cuts for Michigan State University.

https://admissions.msu.edu/decision2010.asp</a>
this site explains it
its for many michigan colleges

^
I see. This is probably what my cousin was explaining to me who stays in Red Ford, University of Michigan and a few other schools also did on-site admission there where students got accepted with stats similar to yours.
