^ Intriguing statement, in the latter part of your response. It does seem a bit odd that many of these posters, indicating they have been accepted, have just created an account. It’s a not a difficult site to find, but I also question the credibility of many of these new users. I have yet to see an accepted applicant with average statistics. There are just as much middle-lower end attendees as there are higher end attendees, but I am only seeing the best of the best, which seems strange.

Its not low stats at all, many of the users who have been accepted and rarely post on cc are like the poster said above " the best of the best". I’ve also seen other rare posters with average or low stats and said to have been accepted. I was just surprise by the large number of those accepted under this thread is represented ( probably at the least half ) by new cc users.

My stats are relatively high in relation to people who have been admitted so far, but I haven’t received a decision (applied on 11/1 and received ER confirmation). Should I be worried now?

My application date on the website says 11/02. This doesn’t mean I’m not under ER right? I did ask the online help chat and they did tell my I was fine for ER.

^^you’re ER dude

lol if they said you are ER then you are…

and i doubt people here are ‘cloning’. i’m sure mainly people with high stats even look at cc and a lot of people read this site but do not participate. but when they get accepted they feel the need to make an ‘acceptance post’. i never thought i would join, but i always planned on positing my acceptance when/if i got in.

@hmmmmmmm

It’s probably just because you submitted right at the deadline

jackdaniels: i’m glad you got ER =)

zseybs–I have the same question. I applied to kinesiology, and haven’t heard yet. Have seen at least one other poster asking if anyone has gotten into K. EA/ER, haven’t noticed anyone saying they did…But I’m not gonna swear that I’ve read all 88 pages.

Maybe their admissions people just don’t meet as often ??

thanks charlie!
i’m glad too, i freaked out when she initially said i didn’t make it haha

my friend got into kinesiology on november 19. he applied 10/31. 29 ACT, 3.7 GPA, OOS.

Wenboy -
michigan doesn’t look at freshman year grades- if I were unlazy enough to find a link on the site, i would, but they say it at the info sessions. (but they do look at your GPA without recalculating it from your High school’s methods) … i just realized that’s a bit contradictory, but my point is, your GPA is great so don’t worry too much about freshman grades

Zseybs and yomomma-- letting you know that I was accepted into kines on November 5 and submitted all my materials by October 17.

@JO: wow! they accepted you quick…

Yeah, I know. It was pretty surprised to get a decision so fast. But I know some people who applied after me and got in, but only to LSA

Because this is a decisions thread, all those who are continually asking if they made the ER deadline, talk with an official through the live chat. They will tell you all there is to know concerning your application. This thread is for other questions and information about admission decisions. Sorry to be an A**hole, but you’re clogging up this space.

^Buzzkill…

Do we have any idea/reason to believe that they might release another batch this week, and when that might be? I’m so anxious.

and is it true there not doing every other week anymore?
