^Who knows. the pattern was somewhat broken last round of decisions. So it could be ANY DAY!

Is anyone else here applying to school of music, theatre, and dance?

Question: So, if my SAT’s didn’t arrive at Umich until nov 11, does that mean I’m not in the Early Response category?? Does anyone know?

^ Did you read the U-M website? Or for that matter, any of the other posts on this forum? U-M has a postmarked deadline, was your SAT test score sent before or on Nov.1? There have been a couple of posters who have talked to the admissions office, and clarified that many students materials, which have been processed/updated to WA with a date of 11/17 or earlier, are still considered ER.

Okay- thanks. Just wanted clarification because on the site it says that if you take the Oct SAT, you cannot apply ER.

By the way, UMich has never accepted more than 3 kids from a pool of 10+ applicants at my school, a boarding school in the NY. This year 11 have applied and 6 have already gotten in. By the time three had gotten in, everybody thought everyone else would be rejected. Guess not. Granted, they are all strong students. However, I think that this year the admissions process at Michigan is very different, at least in terms of my high school. So, don’t lose hope.

For all of you who were accepted, how long after you last application material was received did you get your notification of acceptance?

You’ve probably read wrong. I took the Oct SAT and for every school I applied to it was upload as being recieved the very same day ( Oct 29th), including University of Michigan. Just in time for the priority deadline… I do remember reading that the school doesn’t accept rush scores though.

opus2317-- My last applicantion material was received on October 27 and I was accepted December 4.

opps, application**

alicat is a ■■■■■. in earlier posts he claims that he applied on oct. 22nd and got in around mid-november. however, he has just claimed that he got in on dec. 4.

why do people do this?! it’s not funny, you know.

I applied October 31st and still haven’t heard back. But 4 of my friends have gotten in.

Charlieharper- Before you accuse someone of being a ■■■■■, get your facts straight. If you read through my posts, which you obviously did, I was applied to university of WISCONSIN, not michigan, on Oct 22 and heard back in Mid-November. I just got my acceptance to the University of MICHIGAN on Friday.

Pwnt^^^^^^

So are decisions released every other week still? Or how is it working now? Thanks for any help.

Im so depressed. All my friends have been accepted to UMich, and my decision hasn’t even come yet. My stats are borderline and all I can do is wait and watch the spots fill up quickly.

coolbreeze:
UMich accepts electronically rushed scores, just not paper ones.

My sophomore year was so FKED UP, and it WASN’T MY FAULT

Stop blaming it on random things. I got a D for a writing course (I’m a published poet btw) although it ‘wasn’t my fault’. I could probably say something to that effect for why I ended up with a 2.99 GPA by the time I applied to UofM. But I did get into U-M two weeks ago, probably because of how other things in my application helped to prove that I wasn’t a dumb kid.

^ aren’t you a international student though?? So your GPA is probably calculated differently anyways.

quick question…so since decisions are no longer being released every thursday are they still being released in batches or will they update them when they reach a decision?
