I applied way back in September and have been on edge ever since. I really didn’t think that I would be deferred even though I know that I’m borderline, so that little envelope in the mail today was a wonderful surprise…</p>

A 33 and 3.7 will get you in. don’t be nervous and i know this is not what you want to hear: people applying to UMich will be 1. Happy 2. Successful wherever they go for undergraduate study. After all, most people get their undergrad at some stupid school and go to Harvard and be pimpin awesome. kinda like me. :)</p>
<p>It seems kind of random to me. I got in with a 33 and a 4.0 OOS but a 10/50 rank, so just keep your head up guys!!! You’ll be fine. It all works out in the end. =D</p>
<p>i don’t really think sat and act scores are seriously all there is to their decisions. i think it really has a lot to do with luck too. i had 28, and my best friends, who had 29 and 27, got in. i seriously think it’s all up to chance. (if you also look like 5-10 pgs before when a bunch of people who got in were posting their stats, you can see that some of them had way below average scores…)</p>
