General Comments:

I am so happy and blessed. This shows that test scores aren’t everything. If you have faith in God anything is possible. I only applied to CIT for the heck of it so I’m happy.

If you think “god” is what got you in, think again. If “god” existed he wouldn’t care about what college you get into with so many more pressing issues at hand. Next time credit your own hard work, your GPA, your status as an URM and other such attributes.

Yes I live in Pittsburgh & God is how I got in, he stayed with me during the college admission process and helped me become successful. I’m not here to argue religion, but my faith in God is not what you should’ve gotten out of my post.

harvard521, if you’re not here to argue about religion, why make a post with so many unnecessary references to “god”, and pushing your views by claiming that “if you have faith in god anything is possible”. “God” doesn’t work at the CMU admissions office and had no bearing on your acceptance, except for providing you with your own, personal inspiration and moral support. If that helps you, that’s good for you, but don’t erroneously make assertions that having faith in “god” gets you into colleges.
I don’t believe in a “god”, and I draw much of my inspiration from other areas. You have your “god”, I have real, tangible things which motivate me. Don’t taint my hard work and dedication by saying that this is some act of god.

nishjunankar,
He is not trying to argue about religion. He is simply stating his beliefs and is not in any way whatsoever trying to force that upon others. This is a public forum and he has the right to say what he believes. He believes that God is HIS reason for getting into CMU and did not insinuate in any way that God was your reason. Please learn to be tolerant of others’ beliefs before you post, thanks.

Wong I live in NY I’m not sure I guess it depends on the postal service… I think I read that they post it Monday so we’ll know by then for sure :)
