General Comments:

Guys, should I be worried if I haven’t heard back at all?

I applied Feb. 1 and I haven’t received anything regarding my application. Btw, did everyone have to send in midyear reports? I didn’t get any email regarding it however, my counselor did update my grades on the common app.

If I were you, I’d be a little worried but then again, you applied super late. :-// There’s honestly no use in stressing over it. You’ve done your best already.

my counselor told me there will be a LOT of waitlist decisions being released this year. if you have not heard at this point (this is me as well) i would expect the worst, BUT there is acceptances sent out until the last date, just not very many. most have already been sent out.

I would assume those who applied late find out later…as is the case with me.

plenty of people who applied on the last day heard back in the first round of decisions.

I’m a little confused about Michigan’s admissions process. Why do they defer students RD and then get back to some of the deferred students before everyone has received any decision whatsoever? I have heard nothing at all back from them so essentially some students have gotten their applications reviewed twice before mine has been reviewed once? Correct me if I’m wrong.

you are correct bml785… nobody really knows their process. i’ve been sitting here waiting since i applied in september… deferred in december… so many people have heard who have applied after me. people who applied RD got deferred then got accepted like 2 weeks later… and i’m still waiting from EA. and you are still waiting for a decision at all. nobody really knows the system.
