<p>If my acceptance didn’t say anything about the honors college, does that mean I didn’t get in?</p>
<p>In 2010, my son’s acceptance letter said “Formal notification of your elegibility to participate in the Honors College, along with program details, will be sent separately” He received that letter a week or so later. I’m not sure if that’s the way they are still doing it?</p>
<p>My daughter’s acceptance said she was eligible for Honors and that she would be formally notified at a later date. A week later she received that formal notification.</p>

<p>My son last week got accepted to Pitt and the letter indicated that he is eligible for Honors and that the notification is coming… we didn’t get it yet but it’s less than one week we got the package…</p>

<p>I emailed OAFA about the requirements and they said that what’s written on their website is strict and that “applicants will not be reviewed if they do not meet all the requirements” -top 5% class rank, 1400 SAT and I forget the last one (‘A’ average i think)</p>
<p>they said that a scholarship committee will begin reviewing files in November and letters will be sent home to accepted applicants if they are deemed to be eligible.</p>
<p>I see you and I have somewhat similar stats. I submitted additional SAT’s post acceptance which will satisfy the SAT requirement but we’re both still short on the top 5% class rank. Let me know if you hear anything from OAFA</p>
