** Official Class of 2018 University of Michigan EA Decisions Thread **

Cental Maryland waiting to hear back from CoE. I feel like tides are shifting towards deferrals :(.

Deferred…damn

@mpgh000 mine has always said FA2014…

@mpgh000 is that really it? I don’t think that’s correct. That’s the term you’re applying to, and doesn’t have to do with acceptance.

Anyone from the upper mitt hear anything?

@mpgh so if it says FA2014, we’re accepted…?

asking again… anyone from the bay area hear??

I believe in faith. UMichigan and NU are the only two schools I truly like. Got rejected by NU and I hope God will open another door for me.

I’m in baby

Can someone who was deferred check “Application Status” to see if it says FA2014

ann arbor native, lots of my friends have received emails/gotten in
havent gotten an email yet, and im dying
but i’ve also heard from someone who knows someone on the admissions committee that the email timing doesn’t matter! it’s just about how fast your reader read your app
dont worry, stay up homies

Will everyone hear back today?

For everyone who wants to chat about their deferral, and how we can get in, head over to this thread that I just set up:

@umnr21: 2330 sat, 3.9 gpa. 33 act. 6 aps. varsity fencing captain, principal cellist in prestigious youth symphony, etc etc

My son got his email and he is in. 3.65 GPA, 32 ACT, Eagle Scout.

@aidan625, yeah im from philly, deferred…

@saccharinegray Those are amazing stats. Did your essays show lots of interest?

To @NUWildcat1, I was rejected from Northwestern, as well. It was the worst day of my life. All I could think about for 3 years was Northwestern, and I hoped and prayed to God that I would get in. But, of course, things did not turn out the way I had planned. I was rejected outright from the ED round. But I kept my head up and patiently waited for Michigan two weeks later. And here I am, two weeks later, admitted to the University of MICHIGAN. NU has been an afterthought. Good luck, I’m praying for you.

Accepted to LSA from CA :)

anyone from CT hear yet?
