** Official Class of 2018 University of Michigan EA Decisions Thread **

Guys…Wolverine Access is down…

My dad made me redraft my common app and U-M essay over 5+ times… Like completely restart from scratch… each one… that’s why I don’t want to apply anywhere else. It’s too stressful

Anyone notice that WolverineAccess is down

@patpavs, low reach maybe, GPA is low

i just logged on to Wolverine Access but honestly I have NO IDEA how to use it or what anything means >.<

So many people going on the WA that it went down probably. I remember it happen to UCLA when kids applied there they had literally 70k applications that year.

@aslytheringirl He/she deleted the post. Maybe it was meant for a different thread.

Geez people, relax… Ever heard of hours of operation? Well, here they are for Wolverine Access:
Monday-Friday, 6am-4am
Saturday, 6am-11pm
Sunday, 7:30am-Monday, 4am

So yes, it’s gonna be down until 7:30 am, and it has nothing to do with acceptances. Sadly.

@umnr21 It says on U-M WA:
Research Administration Application Service

@patpavs, if possible, tailor one of your essays towards why you received that gpa. If you can do that, you have a pretty good shot in my opinion.

that shouldn’t make me relieved… but it does >.<

@sbob13 I don’t really have a valid excuse except for the fact that I have ADHD (which got me extra time on the ACT and helped me get such a high score). Should I have mentioned my condition in one of my essays?

yes probably

If it didn’t come up naturally in any of your essays, then don’t worry about not mentioning it. Essays are there to describe your main qualities, to really define you as a person. However, it’d be a good idea to mention your condition and how it affected your GPA in the additional section of the common app.

@patpavs What I learned from admissions is that you don’t want to expose your weaknesses. If you’re trying to sell yourself, don’t tell them the negatives! Only tell them the positives!

Everyone calm down no matter where you go its your destiny… accept it… I really dont care anymore, but im still ****ed lolololololol meaning i care and im contradicting myself now.

I can’t believe I just downloaded the CC app so I can stalk this thread faster.

if you have a medical condition that impedes your ability to perform on tests, that should be mentioned as an explanation for some below-par scores. it would only help you if you mention ADHD

^ to what cabooses said! But I mean if it doesn’t affect your scores, don’t mention it.
