^seems logical. Here’s to hope!

If my email says they guarantee the decision by the 24th and haven’t sent any changes, that would be unfair to move it to January without any updates.

They sent an email to some people stating they would get their decisions in Janurary

I know but if many of us didn’t get that email, we should be able to receive ours on time.

@Amraam120 There are people working in the admissions office on a Sunday???

I think the January is for people who missed the EA Deadline but got in through appeal. This happened with my friend, and now she is getting a decision in January. When I called and ask, the rep told me that I was in EA and would receive my decision by the 24th.

^ sounds about right.

I feel like the email is gonna come at the moment that I do not expect it at all.

I just hope the email doesn’t come while I’m in school because I would not be able to resist looking at it.

Does anyone else have more apps to do? I already sent my transcript and act to northwestern, but I don’t think it’s worth it.

Oh yeah, I still have a ton of apps. Five more schools to apply to, and about halfway done with the supplemental essays… Good think that break is coming up.

I feel like such an underachiever. I just applied to msu and u of m and there’s literally no other college that seems appealing to me. I actually don’t even want to go to msu so I’ve got my fingers crossed for u of m! Anyone else apply to just 3 or less?

Guys think about it. They’ve had all of our applications since nov 1.
That’s a month and a half, so if they saw that there were way more applications than usual, they would’ve gotten a larger number of people to review the applications.

Plus I guarantee every year has more applicants than the last, so they were expecting a larger number.

@purplemonkey33 yeah I just applied to U of M, Rutgers, U of I. I wanted to apply to NYU but they were binding so i did not. So far I got into Rutgers and deferred to U of I. I hope I get into U of M so I dont have to leave the state off Michigan.

^ Was going to apply to UCLA and Berkely but they receive a lot more than Umich does. I heard around 40-70k applicants.

@purplemonkey I only applied to U of M, MSU, and Grand Valley. You are most definitely not an underachiever! I know that I want to go to Michigan, and if that doesn’t works out, I at least want to stay relatively close to home, plus in-state tuition is much cheaper than out of state.

Everytime my phone blings with an email update it really catches me off guard thinking its Michigan. Man if they release the decisions today it is really going to catch a lot of people off guard.

Yeah, most kids want to get away from home but I want to stay as close as I can. As dramatic as it sounds, I really don’t know what I’d do if I don’t get in.

Yeah I applied to U of M, UCLA, Wisconsin, USC, UMiami, Rutgers, Indiana, Texas
