Hope this was helpful to some! This class’s averages are definitely higher than those in the past so I was pretty disappointed to discover this info

Oh! Also the pamphlet says that for the 2013 entering class (last year) they received 46,806 freshman applications and accepted 15,558 of them total. If that’s of any use to anyone.

GoBlue81 idk that’s just what it said. It’s under the “Fall Term Student Profile” section and labeled that its the stats for the current Freshman class…

They really should just accept the students that will go there for sure… Why do i feel like ill get deferred again. HAHAHA anyways i hope they release decisions tomorrow during school. Ill literally run out of class if i get accepted during the middle of it and run home

Does anybody have pictures of the deferred and accepted emails? @coolman1343 said that the email previews look different and I’m curious about what they look like

^spongebob123 umich is a selective college they dont only look at test scores and gpa. They look at you through essays and extracirrculars. Seriously any schools can pick up a child from the streets and make them a big boss if they wanted to. Dont be too harsh on yourself

Michigan doesn’t recalculate GPAs in the admission process. They may later on for statistical purposes, but not simply to evaluate the app…unless your school only sends weighted GPAs.

This happens to be rather unfortunate for me because I get a lot of A-s. :(
