@swaggiedog I’ve been doing interview with bands and running a website since eighth grade and recently started a music media production company with a friend. So I had two interviews, one written and one video, a promo picture I took for a band, a shot I took at warped tour, and a guitar rig video. That was all along with a list of bands I’ve worked with (some fairly noteworthy ones), events that I’ve covered and what not.

@TWD2016 Did u get financial aid in addition to the deans scholarship? I assumed ED Applicants didnt ever get “merit only” awards.
@lydiasomething No, I applied EA. We’ll see a week from now if I’ll be joining you.

@ptkid16 Also to clarify, were you accepted into the University Scholar’s program? Like was the scholarship 40k each year or 40k total over all four/five years?
Congrats to everyone who got in! Sorry to all the denied people! On a bright note at least I know people were actually denied, I was worried that being deferred was a polite denial by the university. I just need to keep my grades up and hope for the best!
Would it be worth writing a letter to the university within the next few months (not immediately but before applications are looked at) saying that they’re still my top choice and listing off some of my more recent accomplishments?
Did they confirm that EA decisions would be out next week? Sorry I’m just really nervous for it
@hayjules a week from now would probably be the release date, but they have until the 31st to do it. Just don’t even think about it, so it’ll be a nice surprise!

@horchataman, you have a pretty unique hook and solid SATs. Sounds like you know what you need to do and just need to “get 'er done.” Yes, write and say exactly what you want to say and make it the best email you ever wrote with memorable specifics about why it is still your number one and be sure they are not vanilla reasons. Yours to win or lose at this point but I think you could make a good case if you are willing to put in the effort and if you mean what you say.
