I’m going with the NEU ambassador TomSrOfBoston’s guidance. My D got accepted to a school yesterday and they posted 3 PM, didn’t hear til 3:30 - so hang in there.
my guess would be that they are more likely to maintain the 3pm start pattern than to maintain the 7 day pattern, so i wouldn’t get hopes up for tonight

It would be pretty ironic if their servers crashed because of a high volume of people all checking at the same time.

@pancakebook44 of course it’s okay to call and ask, but i don’t think they’ll tell you anything more than “by december 31.” You can ask, though.
Try to get a more specific answer then “by the end of the week”

One of the guidance counselors at my school supposedly was contacted today saying that they are releasing today but they did not state what time
I’m not giving up hope, maybe they’ll be released at 4 or 5! But if not, we will probably hear tomorrow or thursday :-/

My friend just got a phone call from an admissions officer because she’s insanely smart saying that she got accepted. He also said to her that all the EA decisions would be emailed out later tonight so we should be getting them soon!
I’ve heard the same from my guidance counselor. I hear NYU is releasing their early decision decisions at 5pm today, so maybe around 4 or 5 we’ll hear back from Northeastern. Keep your hopes up and keep refreshing your emails!
