Has anyone from Illinois/Midwest heard yet?!

Well guys lets think of it this way, the people who got the mid year report thing doesn’t seem like we are denied cause I mean why would they need more of our grades to reject us haha a deferral is better than a reject

I found this on one of their websites, “Please note that some admission decisions may take longer if the committee requests additional information such as mid-year grades.” It was about regular decision so not sure how this applies. https://www.applyweb.com/neu/instructions.html

@xheki05 @srinivs The Honors College information is in the “Decision” letter. The Dean’s scholarship information is in the “Scholarship” letter. Both are located in the menu to the left when you log in to your account and see your acceptance notification.

To everyone who is confused about the mid-year report request, I would guess that it doesn’t mean anything. People have definitively posted that they were deferred, so this doesn’t mean that you were deferred and they just are trying to tell you nicely- there would be a notification. Also, mid-year grades are required for both deferred and accepted applicants, and it is also possible that this option goes automatically onto every single account, regardless of decision, so it doesn’t necessarily mean that it’s not a rejection.

Best of luck to all!
