I only received a merit scholarship in the financial aid letter. Does this mean I will not receive any need based aid? The net price calculator said that I would get more than 30k/year not including any merit scholarships.

i am really surprised since i’m an international student…
On the left of the acceptance page should be a link to a decision letter, a financial aid letter and scholarship letter. My S did not apply for FA, but there was still a letter there telling him how to apply. So there should be a link there either way. Not sure if the scholarship link is there if you got no merit.
So are Dean’s Scholarship and Honors College separate? How do the scholarships amount work? I know someone who isn’t in Honors and got a higher scholarship than the person in honors.
Are they sending us a package anytime soon?

Did not get accepted into Honors College and only <15000 in dean’s scholarship. Perfect GPA and 500+ above 75th percentile SAT. Any way to appeal the dean scholarship and get placed into Honors college? (other than waiting after first semester)
