what does 500+ above equal @littlehappy. the scholarships seem to be a mix of scores and other things in the app.
@sleepystud7383 I did not even fill out my CSS Profle yet oops. I didn’t know one existed until recently
My first offer, so excited! international female.
EA - International affairs
SAT 2030 GPA 3.8UW 3APs
Decent ECs, unique essay, probably good Recs.
Am I pretty much screwed if my mid-year report went down by a lot and I got deffered?
Just received Honors acceptance about half an hour ago w/ 22k per year. Congrats to everyone else accepted and best of luck to those still waiting or deferred! You can do it!
For reference:
Major: International Affairs
GPA: 4.0 u/w (I think it’s 4.2 w)
ACT: 35
Rank: 1/600 (on track for valedictorian)
Define a lot LOL
A to B-?
You should be fine, that’s just one class.
@littlehappy unfortunately no. This is the sad part about all of this, honestly-- watching kids who have been told their app is spectacular realize there are tons and tons of kids with apps as good or better.
Congrats to everyone who got in!
Daughter Accepted!
ACT: 35
GPA: 4.06 UW/4.8 W
Major: Engineering
Honors
Dean’s Scholarship
i received practically no money… a 1900 grant per year and no mention of scholarships
Deferred!
About 3.4 GPA unweighted, 29 ACT superscore, really moving essay, amazing teacher recs, over eleven respectable leadership positions throughout high school career, all APs senior year, two summer jobs, two summer internships and one precollege.
I was expecting to be rejected, so I consider this an accomplishment. Have hope!
WOOOOO I got in! I made it in as an Economics major not at the business school Does anyone know how hard it is to transfer from my status to becoming a dual major with both Economics and Business Administration? I got accepted into the Honors Program as well.
Deferred! But I’m really happy that I got deferred because I’ll take it over a rejection letter. Northeastern is a very big reach school for me.
3.8 Weighted GPA
27 ACT
I don’t know what is considered “good” letters or extracurriculars or whatever, but I am apart of a lot of clubs that require intensive learning and leadership. I applied for a Health Science Major on a Pre-med track, so I don’t know if this has an effect or something.
Where do you see notice of merit or other financial aid? Is it in the initial notice? We filled in CSS but don’t see anything about scholarship or fin aid…
deferred…1450/1600 (2050) SAT
4.2/4.5 GPA
good EC w/ leadership
NJ
civil engineering
@twicemama just to the left of your acceptace are links
Accepted; Honors Program with 18k scholarship
major: nursing
state: MA
gpa: 4.22 unweighted
act: 35
sat II: bio e (800), math 2 (780)
@twicemama I see the same thing, I have just “Decision” “Terms of Admission” and “Portal Instructions” and then “Events” and “Transfer Credits” a little further down. This is really concerning, as there is no way I can go to NE without financial assistance. Could this be a mistake?
Is anyone else getting this?
