You can also try searching ‘Northeastern’ and seeing all tweets that contain the word “Northeastern” but you’re obviously going to get a lot of results unrelated to the school lol
applied EA for International Affairs! Also, I have set up my NUid and everything, but every time I try to log in it kicks me out. Anyone else having the same problems?
@nboutaugh17 I had that problem too. You have to use the link that NEU sent you in their email to activate your account
What day will EA decisions come out?
mostly likely a week after ED’s come out
do you guys think ED is tonight?
It definitely could be. I know that a lot of other college Ed decisions are coming out tonight.
My NUID says “As an Early Action applicant, you will receive your admissions decision by December 31, 2016.” so it might not be until the 31st. Hopefully it’s sooner!
.I’m guessing not. At our school alone, there are 300% more ED/EA applicants than there were last year. Do you think they increased their admissions staff enough to slog through the larger applicant pool at the same pace as in previous years? I don’t. What are the numbers at your school? More applicants?
I think there’s probably a small chance of decisions releasing tonight, but I would only bet money on next Tuesday. It would fit with previous years of releasing decisions on Tuesdays. As everyone has already said though, all bets are off.
Previous years were released on the second Tuesday of December. That would fit with this year’s release being next Tuesday, but who knows? My S is definitely anxious to find out though.
fingers crossed its tonight!
anybody who applied to the nursing program?
ok so i know its super close to the date of our decisions being sent out but can someone chance me for admission? I know i will probably get deferred from EA but I want to know if I have a chance of getting in at all.

I know my grades are not up to par with my SAT scores, but I am hoping that my ec’s and essay will help. Please chance me!!!
I am also a legacy if that will help my chances. And I participated in Northeastern’s preview day back in October.
Hm, I’m not sure about your being deferred for sure. Your grades honestly don’t seem that bad to me? There’s just a little lower than mine, and my test scores are only slightly lower. It’s not like you have a 3.2 UW or anything. Plus you didn’t actually say what you wrote about in your essay lol
How many AP classes does your school offer?
@Bozusaki thank you this makes me feel a bit better!! Are you applying too?
My school does offer a good amount of AP classes and I definitely could have taken more, but unfortunately I didn’t so that probably will not work in my favor
also on the topic of my essay, i wrote about how i moved when i was younger and how it shaped my personality and made me really independent. and then i tied this into how it helped me with my musical theater and how it made me more confident. and then i summarized it by saying that my independence will help me in college. people who read it really liked it so i hope that’s a good sign??
@RMon2898 Yes! I’m an ED applicant. 34 ACT, 3.8 UW and 4.2 W GPA.
I also talked a lot about independence coming into college in my essay. I think that your lack of AP classes may hurt you a little bit in terms of how rigorous your schedule was, but I wouldn’t count yourself out completely with that awesome SAT score. Your ECs and essay seem solid too, so I think that if you’re deferred you probably have a very good shot at acceptance during RD results.
@Bozusaki ah good luck!! thank you omg im so nervous! northeastern is one of top schools too
I applied Early Action.
