School of Music decisions are today.
Ah I see. Does anyone know if School of Art decisions come out earlier or do they come out at the same time as everything else?
Check this out: https://www.cmu.edu/news/stories/archives/2018/march/record-admissions.html
I’m wondering if CMU said the 31 simply because they will be out by then. I’m still hoping for the 25
My DD applied Econ as well.
@vimold, near as I can tell from looking at past years threads, only Music seems to come out in mid March. Seems like Drama works on a totally different schedule and the other arts come out at the same time as everybody else. My D is a BXA applicant for Art and Humanities with an interest in games.
Thanks! @PhilipM I applied for BXA as well. Good luck to your daughter
Did anyone apply engineering?
@Pianomonster20 I did
When will the decision for Engineering be out? Thanks.
accepted school of music via email on 3/15. final decision comes from the university on the same RD decision date as everyone else later this month. school of music does admissions through this two-tier process.
My S applied engineering too. Good luck everyone!

Just got rejected from NEU and BU so not expecting anything good here.
Do we know when decisions for DC are out?
Got into BU but still not sure whether my scores are high enough for CMU.
@Heisenberg1700 Same. I also applied to DC
I think online decisions for the remaining schools will come out midnight March 25th. Last year they came out midnight the last Sunday of March, so this is my best guess.
@Shar2000 What major did you apply for and what are your stats?
I applied for econ
I have-
1440 SAT
780 Math lvl 2
40/45 IB predicted points
Plus tons of volunteer work, an internship, and other extracurricular activities.
