Reflection

Strengths: Well-rounded, really involved, good recommendations

Weaknesses: low SAT scores, unweighted GPA, class rank?

Why you think you were accepted/waitlisted/rejected: Honestly, I don’t think I could pinpoint an exact reason why I was rejected, but I did have pretty low SAT scores for an ivy league; however, I hoped my ACT score would compensate. Also, my unweighted GPA wasn’t as high as it should’ve been. I hoped that my extracurriculars, community service, music supplement, and teacher recommendations would compensate, but I guess there are applicants that don’t require any compensation, and those are the ones that were accepted.

General Comments: I tried to go into it without expectations, but I was still kind of disappointed when I received the rejection letter.
