I keep refreshing my email over and over but my GPA came down spring semester and I don’t think I have a chance anymore :’( @dapieguy1 What are you guna do if you don’t get in?
I’m not @dapieguy1 but my gpa is probably going down spring quarter too but they probably arent going to see it unless they accept me because my final grades arent out yet. Also I’m going to Duke if I dont get into Columbia.
@deepcountrygirl My GPA went down this semester too lol, but it went from a 4.0 to a 3.974. If I don’t get in, I’ll prob stay at the university I’m at now. Got a good research gig, and will shoot for Columbia med!

damn man, i hope I still have a chance. Going to Columbia has been my dream since I was very little. I really hope it isnt too late for the waitlist. Last year, the waitlist started to wrap up around this time…
For people who were accepted off the waitlist, what was your supplement essay about? I think mine is what killed my app tbh. It was about my identity as an Indian.
Oh and for people who were accepted, did you guys apply for the college or fu foundation? I applied for Fu Foundation
@dapieguy1 Don’t give up! It’s not even the middle of June yet, so there’s still hope.
But to answer your questions, I applied to CC. For my supplement, I talked about how my current passions and accomplishments would translate to a successful career at Columbia and I went much more specific into why I want to be there and what I want to do. I don’t think I was specific enough in my common app, which is probably why I got waitlisted first.

@BronxKid how long did it take for you to get your UNI? I just got off the waitlist a week ago so I’m sure it’ll take some time, but I want to know if it was immediately after you paid the deposit.
@ccbrainybee52 it took a while. I activated mine on the 27th of May. I suspected it was that day because that’s when replies were due. The official email was sent out in the 10th of June. Did they give you a deadline to make your decision? If they did, my guess is that that is when your UNI will be ready.
@BronxKid yeah my deadline ended yesterday, but I just figured it out! I wasn’t sure what to do at the “Activate page” until I saw the link to find your UNI.
