Official Columbia University RD Class of 2017 Thread!

Dartmouth
UPenn
Columbia
Brown
Cornell
Yale
Princeton
Harvard

Why are you guys checking Harvard last? I’m checking Harvard first!!!

@Maxyend
My brother did haha and he got rejected from all 8 in 2010 plus Johns Hopkins (his dream school) -> he had been deferred ED.
Ohh well -> he went to Northwestern then.

Doesn’t Harvard email you? So it’s not really up to you lol.

i’m sure that all of them take forever to load, so i’m just opening the tabs for all of them and seeing which shows up first

Princeton
Harvard (or whenever the email comes…)
Columbia
Brown
Cornell

Because if I check Cornell first and get rejected, I would already feel completely hopeless about the other schools with lower acceptance rates (and my essay for Cornell was the best IMO).

I didn’t apply to that many ivies. But I’ll be checking:
UPenn
Columbia
Yale

I’m so nervous.

Everyone also post their decisions from their ivies on here!

Lol ok I’ll probably end up attending Columbia though.

@Juhuatai did you get in?

Yeah 10char

Hello everyone,

just to add some info to the thread, I applied to these 4 ivy’s from Spain:

Columbia
Cornell (Accepted)
Princeton
Harvard

I’ve also been accepted in 5 other universities and i’m getting Duke’s reply today. Can’t wait for Columbia’s response though!

So to everyone who’s waiting for Ivy responses, Good Luck!

I just checked your post history because I’m also from Europe. You got in to Cornell with an 1880 SAT score?!?

tomorrow will be (in order of personal importance)
columbia
cornell
brown
johns hopkins
princeton
hamilton (around 7)
and tufts on friday…

and lol im also one expecting straight rejections… oh well, its not like a majority of accepted spots arent totally deserved! we done good, guys, we done good.

I’m hearing back from Columbia, Penn, Cornell, and Johns Hopkins tomorrow. I have no idea what order I’ll check decisions… I’m so so so nervous right now, and I’m expecting straight rejections mainly do to my awful SAT scores… yay…

Hello guys, this is my first time posting.
I am an active duty in the Air Force. I applied for fall 2013 for schooll of general studies. I have a 3.77 GPA from community college. I went to school abroad so I took TOEFL test but I failed it. I got 59 for scores. Do you guys think I can still get in?
Thank

Hello guys! First time posting on this thread (See my older post for stat)…Obviously my stat is a little of a reach because of my lack of EC but still crossing my finger since application at this level is a crapshoot…I’ll have Berkeley, Harvard, and Columbia (luckily got into UCLA so won’t be too dejected if I get rejected from all of them) to check tomorrow. Either way, good luck in your decisions and just have fun!

Well, I asked and I didn’t post my order so…
Harvard
Yale
Princeton
UPenn
Columbia
Cornell

Plus, I’ll probably be checking a couple hours late so I’m just hoping everything is in my mailbox by then. I would hate to do a MIT-rerun and keep refreshing the page just so I can view a sweet and short rejection letter.

@firefliesdance - Any reason why you didn’t apply to Pton and Brown???
I mean… you could’ve made it 8/8 at the Ivies :p

@Maxyend - Yes I got into Cornell with an 1880 on my SAT’s. We don’t get any preparation from our High School so its basically up to the student to prepare. However, my essays were really good, my extra-curricular activities even better and I had amazing teacher recommendations. It’s good to know that they don’t only look for the perfect score students. Btw where are you from?
