I emailed an Undergrad Program Specialist at Purdue about admission statistics and this is what they sent me.
"I’m happy to provide you with some statistics on the admitted class for Computer Science, however please remember that we have no minimums or cutoffs here, and that the numbers are averages, so we take above and below that.
For Fall 2018:
Average GPA – 3.80 (unweighted)
Average ACT Comp – 33
Average SAT Math – 760
Average SAT Verbal – 700
For Fall 2018 we had over 4500 applications, and admitted just over 1300 students, so around a 28% admit rate. We are looking for an incoming class right around 400, which includes both CS and DS majors."
Just out of curiosity, I took the numbers provided by @iwantpurdue and compared them with College of Science and College of Engineering students matriculating in Fall 2018 (from the Purdue Data Digest), and also with all Purdue students matriculating in Fall 2017 (from the most recent Purdue Common Data Set). Here is what I found:
