is it beneficial to call the admissions office? do they keep track of your name or something? (someone told me to keep contact w/ the admissions office). i dont wan't to have my parents kill me for the phone bill.. i live in CA

You know, i called the admissions office before, and they didnt even ask me my name or anything. HOWEVER, i did email admissions officers and the admissions office itself before, with obviously my name in it, and multiple time, so much (around 3 or 4) that they remembered me when i actually met one of them in person.

Well it is the time you start panicking about essays and rec's and other stuff. (i'm not too organised so im panicking)..

Well I'm in the states on holiday right now so I'm seeing Cornell next week which should be cool. Hopefully it doesn't get too cold :)

I wouldn't be surprised if the acceptance rate from the list turns out to be something like 60%. There tends to be a lot of strong students on CC.
