Reflection
[li] Strengths: Passion?[/li][] Weaknesses: SATs and APs
[] Why you think you were accepted/waitlisted/rejected: After I got 2130 on sat, i wrote it one more time but scores significantly dropped… Also, collegeboard screwed up sending sat scores and i had to resend them later…(this delay in scores pushed my illinois application to regular not priority…)
[] Where else were you accepted/waitlisted/rejected: Georgia Tech
General Comments: I am really dissapointed… but congratz to those who got in…

My son is very upset to have been deferred to ILR. His sister is a sophomore in Engineering. He is a high honor student (93 average) with many AP classes (AP Scholar with distinction.) but not the greatest math SAT scores. SATII math 640. 700 writing 650 R Does anyone know the chances of acceptance in the regular pool? He thinks they defer and not reject in ILR. Is that true?? Many extra-curricular including Boys State, Newspaper Sports Editor, Concert and Jazz Bands and a lot of community service. AP US and Spanish awards. Sorry I didn’t post on stats thread.
