Did anyone else get an interview for CALS?

@kungpaoasian Sophie ended up getting arrest for drugs at GW I believe. The two other Asian girls seemed sincere. I believe Mike had a 1400 out of 2400 (I could be wrong) but he had a lot of family responsibilities and things going for him.

me too! @Radbg74

didnt feel bad for mike, he didn’t try at all

@superdub He could never get in to Columbia but his general grit and his family situation made me feel some sympathy for him. On the other hand, Sophie seemed too full of herself and disrespectful and unoriginal. While she had better stats than Mike, I would have accepted Mike over her.

the issue i had with mike was that he didnt even bother to look up the requirement’s for columbia. he also got lost when he had his interview, i mean you didnt even bother googling the place beforehand? and also, his low sat score doesnt show his intelligence. it shows he was too lazy to put any effort at all into studying, he got a 380 on critical reading i believe.
as for sophie, i’m glad she got rejected from all her dream schools, she was an ungrateful little B.

“can you fax them back to me”
I was literally sitting there dying of laughter

@kphoto516 CALS doesn’t offer official interviews, but if you meant about alumni interviews, I have mine this week and I applied to CALS.

I watched it, and it was not a waste at all. I am glad I am a real Chinese kid but not an ABC after watching…

This might sound very paranoid, but does anyone know what time of day Cornell usually posts admission decisions?

“Can you fax them back to me?” was absolutely the best part…oh and I also liked the Yale Bulldog sound effect when the offer came in. Thanks for the links @Kungpaoasian.

@connect1234 I’m happy all of you enjoyed it

28 days left until Dec 15!!

Hey I am new to this discussion , I have some questions about the Cornell ED . I moved to USA from India last year and yes I am an International student . Does having such a background story alter your chances of getting in Cornell . Like most of the kids in USA - I took as many APs as possible. I am fluent in writing and speaking 3 languages . HELP ME out . I am very nervous !!

wat college?

Engineering

if ur math and science are good, then yes.

I still haven’t been contacted for an interview–and I live in Atlanta…I know for a fact that there are a ton of Cornell alum here, especially cause my sister applied last year and had an interview…it’s a little nerve-wracking :(
