HEY ALL!! Joining this really quick, officially sent in my ED to HumEc today From Washington state. Best of luck to everyone that applied!

Wow not as many engineers (at least in this thread) as I expected. Applying to CoE for ED.

Majoring in engineering physics, second major electrical + comp engineering. Very much hope to see all of you guys at Cornell someday! Good luck to you all!

@premedprincess13â what major are you looking at?

@kungpaoasian I am guessing pre med lol jk

That is not what they told me. They said they want all SAT II and all ACT scores. I think that they are not all on the same pageâŠ

@annwank what major are you applying for? I called ILR (my intended major) and they said SAT II are not required so I wonât have to send them. However, I told them that I sent one of mine by accidentally and I asked if I need to send the rest (SAT I and my other SAT II) and they said no. I sent all of my ACT though.

@SweetIceTeaâ Premed is not a major.

@kungpaoasian I know pre med is not a major lol. I am guessing something Biology/Human Science related.

Hey guys. I submitted everything, but is anyone submitting their first quarter report cards? The reason im asking is because I have 2 APs this year and I want them to know Iâm doing well in them. Anyone doing this?

@123211â I will be. The admissions checklist makes it seem like sending a mid year report is required. Either way, it canât hurt to send it.

Is anyoneâs SAT score also low?? Idk Iâm still paranoid with my 1980:(

@13211 I am sending in my 1st quarter grades which includes an A+ in AP Calculus and all As in my 7 other AP classes I am hoping that it will help my low composite ACT score of 31.

My test scores are also low, I got a 26 on math and a 31 composite. I took the October ACT so I hoping to bump it math up to 27 at least. I have a feeling that I probably got a 33-35 on the English section (I got a 31 last time) so if you superscore all of that it should come out to a C32. I know Cornell says that donât superscore, they said they âlook at the highest score for each sectionâ which is essentially the same thing. I am probably going to sign up for the December ACT as well to bump up my composite again.

I didnât take any standardized testing until April (horrible horrible mistake on my part) so I had to rush everything. I got a 25 my first try and a 31 my second try.

Donât feel bad, I have terrible test scores as well.

@SweetIceTeaâ I think we are good, honestly. My friend goes to Cornell and she knows students with 2300s and 1800s. Obviously a higher score helps, but Cornell is all about fit so if you show that in your essays, you would be a good candidate. I just picked one of the most competitive majors, AEM. Crossing my fingers!!!

@123211 I am applying to ILR. Hopefully they donât look too closely at my 26 on the math section. Good luck to the both of us!

Do they have an exact day of the announcements? Or is it just mid December?

It was on the 16th last year, even with ED deadline pushed back for a week.

My D sent in her application on Friday. She was trying to decide between CAS for Econ or Dyson for AEM. After attending info sessions for both schools in Sept she decided on CAS for Econ. She had a 1990 SAT and took the Oct SATs hoping to go up some. Unfortunately she only went up 10 pts so she has a 2000, Hoping that the other parts of her application will make up for the somewhat low SAT scores.

Glad it is all over for now. Now we wait! Good luck everyone.

Is anyone applying into CALâs environmental science and sustainability major?

@Kungpaoasianâ Human Health, Biology, & society + global health minor!

Yeah im in the same boat as some of you guys i have a 2010 superscore SAT so that sucks ass⊠but Iâm a great fit for HumEc⊠Iâve done biomedical engineering, public health research, public health community outreach and women STEM empowerment not to mention tons of other extracurriculars, leadership, TEAMWORK, and volunteer hours! HumEc is everything iâve ever wanted so I really hope they dont trash my application after seeing my SAT pray for me! im praying for all of you!
