Official Cornell Early Decision Class of 2017

below avg gpa/rank, median ACT. above average EC’s.

i’m not an amazing applicant by any stretch of the imagination. but the major i’m applying to is small (atmospheric science) so i don’t know lol

Lol I’m realizing that at this point it’s going to be impossible to see who was accepted or rejected because we all probably have very very similar stats.

I don’t have anything anymore. I never had financial aid but I had the student center. My GPA is 3.97 with 33 ACT and pretty good ec’s. I’m white but a first gen college student.

Lol ya its gonna be really hard to tell… I’m Ukrainian (born in Ukraine), as well as my dad, and my mother is Lithuanian so maybe this could be something of a mini-hook? Only my mom went to college here…

and I always thought my ECs were above average too… i got a few leadership positions, some stuff related to programming, etc.

kaitlyn what school are you applying too?

hmm I can’t access it either. @Battlebrick, are you at the Student Center that’s attached to the Finaid page? I think I’ve seen 2 different Student Centers.

new episode of how i met your mother today :)

by battlebrick I meant. BreakingGrace. Are you at the Finaid Student Center?

yea i still see my aid. just curious, what are you guys seeing? like will it not let you log in or has the page just changed significantly?

When I click on Finaid it just takes me to a page saying that I have no To-do items. There used to be a dropdown menu but there isn’t anymore.

you can log in but the fin aid area is completely blank

haha doesnt look good for us guys… oh well

I doubt it means anything. Breakingdawn won’t be the only person on this thread to be accepted.

hey when u guys login to check this stuff are you using https://selfservice.admissions.cornell.edu/</a> ? cuz if so when i do that I get No current to do item information found. if thats the case, i wouldnt worry about it.

Yeah! Sorry I called you breakingdawn hahaha. That was the second time in like 15 minutes I got your name wrong.

@breakinggrace I applied to engineering

@BreakingGrace

But you can still access the student center form there… right?

ill explain more in depth what I did before they took away the drop down menu.

I’ve been checking those drop down menu things for a couple of days now because im nervous/curious. Today, I checked in school and I was just playing around with some things. I clicked on something called “Account Inquiry” (or something like that) and it showed my aid for Fall 2013 and Spring 2014. I thought it was really interesting so I did some more stuff and I got to a page where it showed me my aid breakdown (cornell grant, perkins, etc). Shortly thereafter, the bell rang and I had to go to lunch. I came back to the library (study hall), logged in, and there was no drop-down box.

best guess: i wasn’t supposed to see this stuff and someone at cornell had an “oh ****” moment.

@Battlebrick

lmao… I can actually picture an admin having that like expression on his face

but it still doesnt explain why BreakingGrace can still see everything.

post the link u are using to try to login
