Can anyone confirm as to how ACT’s are listed on the portal? Anyone used Score Choice for SAT II only? Thanks!

If I need to update my application, do I email my regional admissions officer?

@ForeverFish can u reply to my previous post if you know the answer. You can just e-mail Cornell admissions directly and they will forward it to the committee.

@crowlady – Do your son’s actual SAT scores show up on the Cornell applicant ID page? Or does it just have a green check mark indicating that they were received?

@agg999: I didn’t take the ACT – sorry! I didn’t use Score Choice for the subject tests, either…I sent all 4 of mine.

@smartkookie: The question wasn’t directed at me, but I can give you an answer. The actual scores of my SAT show up on the applicant portal, along with a green check mark.

Thanks, ForeverFish. Same with your Subject Test scores?

No, there are just check marks by my subject tests – no numerical scores.

It’s weird, I know.

SmartCookie, as far as I know → Yes, SAT II’s are posted as well.

Can you let me know info on the ACT?

For ED applicants, are we supposed to send 1st quarter grades on our own? or does Cornell request our grades?

I’m not sure about Cornell’s policy for 1st quarter senior grades, can someone please explain to me? :/

No specific ACT scores listed . . . so far.

@collegestress14: We discussed this a few pages back. Basically, Cornell is supposed to request first-quarter grades directly from your school. It’s highly recommended (but not required) that they’re sent, as the admissions officers want as complete a picture of you as possible. At my school, I have to give formal consent before the grades are sent, though that might not be the same everywhere.

@smartcookie So, ACT scores are not even listed on the portal?

Hi guys, I still have a question about my interview. My CIEE interview is on 23rd and it takes about one week for Cornell to receive it. (Registering the CIEE costs 330 dollars.) If Cornell can’t guarantee they would see Nov. SAT scores, then will they be able to see my interview video? I’m considering not take the interview now…

to anyone stressed out over alumni interviews - DONT BE.
I had mine today it’s very relaxed, fun, and informative. be sure you have some questions you’d like to ask the alumnus though.

Mine is not alumni interview, mine is CIEE interview which is basically a language and logic test. Cornell highly recommends me to take it but the test fee is 330 bucks! I am doubting it is for profit now cause alumni interview is free. Plus, I applied to CAS so I don’t have required interview. I am an international student so maybe my interview is different. Idk.

hmm…so the minute everything is in place (in my file), then its sent off to admissions commitee?

So I guess if I wanted to send supplemental stuff (resume, newspaper clipping), then I need to do so before my November SATs (one thing left to complete my file, so tomorrow basically) or if I send it in, will they update my file? My big concern is, I want Cornell to consider the stuff I send them…so I need them to see this before it hits commitee.

So are applicant files updated when stuff rolls in, even after it is sent off to committee (but not read?)

@quanlude
I think you should send an e-mail to regional representative to get some clarification.
@TypeRA
I guess you can send the stuff as early as possible and inform the admission office about your situation.

Thank you wulawula, I will. Good luck to everyone’s Nov. SAT score!

I still haven’t got my applicant id yet ;(
I dont think they reviewed my early app yet?

onlytanggu, go to website type applicant is in the search bar click on the first link, then click I never revived my applicant ID. If that diesbt work call admissions
