@bizmajorlar - Wise words, couldn’t have said it better myself :)

It’s Wed now, and Cornell hasn’t sent us anything, what’s going on? Maybe they are going to bankrupt this year?

Btw guys, I know this may be premature, but I’m just really curious, does anyone know what happens will happen in our Cornell application portal, if we are accepted? Like for Yale a blue screen with the bulldog appears and you hear trumpet sounds after which it says congratulations, and UChicago has bubbles appearing on the screen whoch turn into golden balls reading congratulations and then burst into confetti, so yeah does anyone know what happens on the Cornell portal?

FWIW, Columbia’s ED deadline was also 11/8, and they’re receiving decisions on 12/12.

I wish cornell did something cool like Yale and uchicago, but from what I know, it’s just the acceptance letter that shows up

We might find out the decision date tomorrow, since it’ll be the 5th. Last years applicants got notified of the decision date on the 5th right? And their decision date was the 13th

I know a kid who got accepted ED last year. He said you log in, click a link that says something like “Click here to see your admissions decision” and then a very short message just pops up saying whether or not you got accepted…

I really wish they would tell us the date already…

Has anyone called since yesterday?

I called today and the woman said that we will find out mid december and that we will be notified a week before. They said they’re not set on a date yet. I don’t really get it. Like why are we getting so many different answers? I think its possible that they had a date and now they’re not sure. Man I feel like this waiting is one of the hardest things I’ve had to do hahaha it’s all I think about!

Ugh great… that means it’s probably later than the 12th because if they’re emailing us a week before, that would be tomorrow… and they said they don’t even know it yet.

It’s getting to be all I think about too…

they’re probably just saying “I don’t know” so no one holds what they say against them
lol the poor admissions office getting all these frantic calls just b patient y’all it’ll come :-)

I’m stressing out! Just went on applicant id again yesterday and I found some financial forms missing which were due 11/8… Is this bad? Does this mean I didn’t submit all my forms? Any help would be appreciated.

Guys, if you look at your application status account. This is what it says:

A few days prior to the decision release date, we will contact all early decision applicants by email with instructions for viewing their decisions online. Please note that decisions will not be posted on your Cornell online application status account, so please follow the instructions that will be outlined in our email to you.

Ughhhhhhh!!! This is so frustratingly long!! I might just die of anticipation…

Kind of bummed out I have to wait until the 16th but at least we know a date.

Where does it say that? I went on my application status, and I can’t find that

tkim5574, log in first and then click on “check application status”

I did and it says "We will notify you in mid-November if we are missing materials from your application, and we will provide you with an opportunity to submit those materials. "

We are talking about application self-service system right?

Yeah, mine still says the old message about notifying missing materials blablaa. The 16th?! :((((

Hmmm…yeah, where you received an applicant ID and set your password. My guess is that perhaps this happened recently and it takes a while for all to be updated.

Nothing new on mine either. if it’s the 16th though…arghhhh

Nevermind, it showed up now :p

Yeah…it should say
