I wouldn’t recommend logging in…even if there is no penalty, and the decision is real, it’s not worth it. if you can’t wait another 20 hours then you are seriously impatient

Also want to know if anyone wasn’t able to log on

Guys don’t try it. You would not want to jeopardize your admission for a simple mistake after 4 years of hard work

This is not hacking because it is from the Cornell website and yea the January date is really weird, maybe its a mistake because the dates were messed up last year

I tried it and now I regret it… I took screenshots of this thread to prove how I came across the idea and my reasoning if Cornell asks and I suggest you all do the same… I still don’t see how this could be an ethical issue it is on the Cornell site, even in the small print where it says be sure to only use your log in if its “web*” * being 1, 2, 3, or 4 and it was a 4 for me.

I’m beginning to think being able to log on means nothing, since I used the student portal log in maybe since the portal has not been shut off yet it just has one of these pages for everyone with a portal.

this is ridiculous, it’s obviously not a real way to see your decision, it’s probably just the link they give to all accepted students, but everyone can access right now.
unless anyone’s gotten anything besides accepted, this is definitely fake.
also i don’t get why anyone would even try to jeopardize his/her chances at a great school just because you can’t wait a couple more hours after waiting months.

probably just a glitch guys. the to-do dates seem weird too: enroll in a meal plan by december 16? immunizations by the 20th?

I know the idea of viewing admission decisions early sounds really enticing right now, but I’d suggest to everyone who’s thinking of trying to hold off just a little bit longer! After all, we’ll all know by this time tomorrow.

@yalesoon Lol, I noticed that too. We’ll see tomorrow though!

It’s for the spring transfers which is why the dates seem so weird.

WHHAHTTTT ugh idk WHat is lyfe rn

It’s for spring transfers if you actually look at the dates

Yeah and you can see the To-do-list even without logging in.

My guess is: Sometime tonight or tomorrow, the dates will refresh. I do want to know if anyone logged in without a to-do-list.

It s aid freshmen at the top banner, not transfers? o:

Edit okay nvm I get it that was stupid of me, spring transfers can be freshmen :p

Yeah… I’m not trying anything. There’s no way I’m going to put my possible acceptance on the line with 20 hours to go. Patience. :)

Guys, you can get on that website just by browsing. Go to newstudents.cornell.edu and you can find the “to do list” link. Nothing special. Anyone can do it, so there’s no risk AFAIK.

Edit: Of course it also means that this link has nothing to do with acceptance.

Nice idea, ideabear :P

@grahamw12 your totally making this up LOL
