(Sorry for posting) You will not be able to edit it once decisions come. There is only a small window for editing a post that lasts less than an hour I believe.

(I’m sorry for posting as well.) Hey guys, there’s been a lot of people wondering if certain events foreshadow an acceptance to Cornell. I propose that when we report decisions we should also report on our individual experiences so as to figure out once and for all if there is a correlation between them and acceptance. I think that this format with yes or no answers should work:

Potential foreshadowing:

 1. If your financial aid portal was updated
 2. If Cornell asked for your first quarter grades
 3. If your Applicant portal was disabled in the days leading up to the decision.
 4. If Cornell offered you an interview

I’m not exactly sure where I *ed up, because of my strong 75th percentile sat scores. I did take it 4 times, though I showed significant improvements each time. My essay and supplement were rushed, but they weren’t bad, or at least that’s what my teacher said. But whatever. Weird * happens in admissions. There was this one kid in my school who got accepted to Columbia with a 25 act and 1700 sat. He was black though, but still, he had no athletics, no awards, etc. With test scores at this level, I thought I would at least get differed though. I thought it was strange. What do y’all think?
