Hello [misterpresident],

As Cornell admission selection committees approach the end of early decision application review, we want to share information with you regarding Cornells online admission decision notification process.

Early decision applicants will be able to view their admissions decisions online on Thursday, December 10, beginning at 5:00 p.m. (Eastern Standard Time). A few days prior to the decision release date, we will contact all early decision applicants by email with instructions for viewing your decision online.
i just want to see their decision already… its freaking me out that my application is sitting somewhere at cornell with either an accepted, defer, or deny label on it!!! prob one of the last two… =[

I thought I had a decent-ish chance, but just the stats alone of the rest of the CC applicants has had me doubting myself so much. Even if we constitute ~2% of the applicants this year.

All I’m saying is that people shouldn’t get their hopes up about these kinds of schools. A lot of people with great stats treat Cornell as their safety (to other, “higher ranked”, Ivies and top schools) and, as a result, don’t care much about Cornell, don’t show a fit, and don’t get in. Don’t take the numbers for granted.
