Official Cornell Transfer 2011

@YeastDNA

So you are also a NY resident, right?

TX resident

@YeastDNA

Then you got pretty earlier. I live in MI and still haven’t got it… I’m so anxious now

@Yeast

When I was accepted to my current school I walked to the mailbox with my mom, picked-up my mom and spun her in circles then kissed her. People driving by my mailbox kept on honking and screaming at me. They thought I was trying to do something to her… I hope I can repeat it, but this time Cornell.

Any international students received any news from Cornell?

Talked to ILR Admissions again today. I’m trying to figure out where the decision letter is going to be mailed either to my house in Maryland or to IC. They said, “we will start sending out decisions around Dec. 1st.” So, 20 more days! Ugh.

Is it easy to transfer to ILR? Anyone know the percentage acceptance rate? They sent me an envelope and included a letter kind of begging me to apply. I want to go to AEM but don’t want to risk getting rejected.

@Investment

Please read my post on the previous page. I think I address your questions there.

@ithacakid
R they sending it to the permanent address or current mailing address?

@investment
‘Begging me to apply’… um…haha? Lol

@Edithzzle
i’m an international student and i was not notified of my decision yet :stuck_out_tongue:
so im guessing youre also an international applicant?

To CAS People

I just called the admission office, and the lady told me that letters would be send on Nov 15!!! Next Week…so scary…

@tallfrodo
They are sending to IC because I’ll probably be back at school by the time they send it

@Edith: Thanks for calling I was worried about not getting a decision today.I guess I will have to wait, thanks again.

@Investment: I don’t think Cornell is begging you to apply, and I am sure you’re confusing the information package with something else.

CAS APPLICANTS I HOPE WE GET OUR DECISION BY MON.15TH.

i’m a current student at Cornell (though looking to transfer). good luck to you all! i was reading some of the posts and wanted to clarify something – do NOT denote the College of Arts & Sciences as CAS. It’s A&S (my school). No one will know what you’re talking about if you say CAS to a Cornell student (they may think you’re talking about the Ag school, CALS). hope i see you guys on campus next semester!

Yessssssssssssssssssssssssssssss!!..THANK YOU LORD…THANK YOU LORD!!! I have been accepted!!! AEM!

:( I still haven’t heard.

Just got in

@kristev4: Thanks for sharing that with us. I will now call it A&S.

@Cutie: Congrats and best of luck at Cornell.

@Nah: Good luck at Cornell =)…

Congrats cutie and nashim!!
