^I agree. Since mjmisa’s been informed via e-mail in such aggressive manner, mjmisa should simply resend it at this point.

@john1234567: well that scares me 'cause I applied to CoE as well, and have only mid-term to be faxed in few days…but they didn’t send mine for review… perhaps a bad omen !! O_o

So I called them but it keeps saying I shouldnt call them until april cuz they’re still processing freshmen applications. urrrrgggg I’m losing weigh!!!

@ eyethink
no I havent… YET. But I did ask my professors to rewrite them. I’m just gonna wait another week and resend them.

@ kiwilemon
dont we need two evaluation letters and one report?
I mean… thats my least problem… cuz I’ve sent like…three and they are not getting one!!

YESS you’re right. - but I’ve sent three to every school I’m applying.

I got an email today saying that I’m only missing college official’s report
and part of my transcript. But no mention of recommendation letter.

However, my status keeps saying that I’m missing recommendation letter.
urrrrghhh What AM I SUPPOSED TO DOOOOOOO
I dont know how their system works, but i hate it.

@mjmisa calm down buddy. If the email didn’t mention the rec letters then you probably don’t need to resend it. Nevertheless, you should definitely call them to be sure

@mjmisa: You should fax over your College Official’s Report (or your advisor should) and fax over the supposed missing recommendation letter. They probably have it since they haven’t emailed you saying that your recommendation letter is missing. It just takes them a while to process it and actually have it show up on your Application status. Just fax those things over (that way they receive it immediately as opposed to waiting days in the mail) and I’m sure you’ll be fine.

Hi everyone! I’m new (:
My application’s in for review and I’m so anxious!
Hotel Admin major, for those who were wondering (:
I know I’m going to get rejected, but it’s still daunting to know that it hasn’t been finalized yet!

for those who want to call the office to find out about missing materials, I find it much easier call the specific college rather than the general admission office…

It’s my first time here. I’ve been reading all the thread and the community here is very awesome. I applied to Cornell for Fall '11 transfer as well. I applied to the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences as a Biology Major. I’ve been debating whether to participate to the discussion because I feel like I’m going jinxed my chance of getting in. lol.

Here’s my stat:

Transfer from California Comm College.
GPA: 4.0 (~60 semester units)
High School: Graduated in the Philippines.
Took 30 units of college work in the Univ. of the Philippines before moving to the US.

As of now all my requirements were received by Cornell aside from the College Transcript. This was my main concernbecause I forgot that they also want my transcript from the Univ. of the Phil. It was my mistake (I just send my transcript from UP 3 days ago). Also I took a full-year internship at UC Berkeley in 2010 and took 5 units of classes during my stay, however the classes I took counts towards my units at the comm college. I am hoping they’re not waiting for a transcript from Berkeley because it’s nonexistent. I am trying to call them but according to the voice prompt they will not accept any phone call inquiry (any thoughts on this?).

@ dyepribudoy: I applied to CALS as a biological sciences major too. I would email the admissions office at CALS. Every time I have they have replied within a couple hours and were super helpful. Good luck!

@circusfreak91e. Wow! Thank you very much! I haven’t thought of contacting the college. Thanks you very much for your help. It is very nice to have somebody to talk to about this whole application process. I am very anxious for the results. I wish you all the best!
