Official Cornell University 2013 Early Decisions Thread

This thread made me laugh so hard, I think I should sober it up with a real post...

*Decision: Accepted *

Stats:[ul]
[] SAT: 200 CR 200 W 200 M (purposely missed all questions, was actually difficult to do. Essay written in Farsi. Discussed in essay #2)
[] SAT IIs: Did not take ... they called me to ask why; I told them I was being thrifty by not wasting my money to see a bunch of 800s in every subject. All was cool.
[] GPA: 4.0 (attendance based; was a breeze for me because I am homeschooled. Also, I am the teacher so I just look the other way when I am absent.)
[] Rank: Top of my class (Emphasis on top; my "lair" is in the attic)
[] Other stats: First place, 2004 Micronesia Spelling Bee as a guest visitor. Winning word: Micronesia (pretended I was not reading it off of the banners everywhere)
[/ul]Subjective:[ul]
[] Essays: One on purposely failing the SAT (also in Farsi - handwritten note on acceptance letter from Farsi professor said "you can't spell right. At all.") Second on my lifelong struggle and numerous lawsuits against Gatorade to make all of the wrappers of their bottles tight to the plastic so water cannot collect underneath and spill all over you when you take it out of a cooler (what don't they get!?!?!?)
[] Teacher Recs: Best Student in His Career (By Me for Me)
[] Counselor Rec: Again, self-counseled. "Vivacious personality, loves drinking Pepsi"
[] Hook (if any): On the wall in my closet, from which I hang coats. Mentioned in Gatorade essay, might have tipped the odds in my favor
[/ul]
Location/Person:[ul]
[] State or Country: Manmade Island off of coast of Maine, technically part of Florida
[] School Type: Religious/Parochial (I am also a certified pastor)
[] Ethnicity: Straight Peruvian
[] Gender: Manly Man
[/ul]
Other Factors:* Have only left my island once (See spelling bee above)
General Comments: I will be postponing matriculation until 2019 due to severe case of workitis. They were cool, plan on giving financial aid deposits to bank account each year until then because I have no source of income, and will be limited in my shellfish diving excursions because of aforementioned workitis.

I enjoyed a good part of that. Let's see some more 'decisions' posts
