Reflection
Strengths: race
Weaknesses: lack in SAT I and II scores and some leadership extracurriculars
Why you think you were accepted/waitlisted/rejected: I believe that, although my standardized testing scores were lower than the norm for an ivy league, being part of an elite in a race that…isn’t known for being as competitive as other races, as well as showing undeniable enthusiasm for the school, my major, and my future, is what separated me from other applicants.
Where else were you accepted/waitlisted/rejected: n/a (cause I applied ED)
General Comments: I know so many of you guys worked so hard to try and get into Cornell ED…and some succeeded…and some well-deserved applicants, unfortunately, did not. It breaks my heart because from the scores, the extracurriculars, and just the way you present yourself in your posts, I know most everyone of you should have gotten in. For that, I am truly sorry. Wherever you end up though, I’m sure you’ll be successful and have a satisfying life.
As for some of some one like me, who feels that there were many more qualified applicants than myself, let it be known that if it means we have to work extra hard to keep our heads above water, so be it. I’m fully prepared but also exhilarated to be part of Cornell’s Class…of…2015!!! Whoop whoop! Merry Christmas and a happy new year! Double ones!</p>
