@ceresma, you could always pre-write up your stats post and just wait to fill in the decision part of it until you find out, and then post it. (:
That way, you don’t have to be attempting to fill it all in when you’re too excited/depressed to take the time to do it at that moment.

Gahh… 3 more days @_____@
I’ve spent at least 5 hrs on CC these past two days… I’m not sure if it’s calming me down or firing me up… > <
So nervous/scared/excited/having a heart attack Dx

Drelnis:: Hey! Remember me? <'D I hope we all get it > <

TrackStar2011 and Ballinallday:: There’s a notification on the Cornell admission page and on the application status login page that says that decisions will be available 12/9 at 5:00 Eastern Time

The reason I asked was because I applied E.D. to duke and they historically release their decisions at 6:00 on the same day that Cornell does, but they haven’t released an official date yet, leaving us all in anxiety-filled limbo.

hey i was just wondering… I got a 740, 750 and 760 on Physics, Math II and Chem Subject Exams but I got a 570 in literature… will cornell count that against me or will they take the best that I’ve got?

TrackStar2011 what did you get on SAT Reading/Writing and did you take AP English courses? I feel that they’ll ignore it if you did well on other tests. They know that SATs are dependent on the day you take them.

By that logic, so are APs… They probably get a sense of your writing from your essays. Remember that test scores aren’t everything; it’s just that college confidential makes it seem that way because it’s difficult to evaluate other students in the context of their school/region/ECs.

@sxeYustas I think what Ballinallday meant was that he applied ED to Duke and simply wondered about Cornell’s ED date, since they usually come out as the same time.
