“spamming”, not sure what you are talking about
all I was doing was responding to the post above
chill out and let’s enjoy
nothing we can do now
very good luck to you

haha englandern. You’re STUPID. I’ll give you some statistical evidence. Around 10 people each year from my school applies ED to Cornell. Usually at most one (this year -NONE- unless you count me as hooked, since I went to summer college and have a professor recommendation) have hooks, including legacy and recruited athlete. Do you want to know what the ED acceptance rate is at my school? 40%. RD? 12%. The average W GPA accepted ED is a 4.0, and 4.4 for RD. Average SAT scores, as you can guess, are also significantly lower. Does that mean there won’t be excellent people rejected ED? No. There are. Does that mean ED is harder to get in through, because they would’ve gotten in RD? Definitely not. Don’t be an idiot; I don’t even know where you’re getting that information from. Take: AP Statistics Don’t take: Hallucinogenics.

I love that last sentence xD

great post sparky,
it’s just that a lot of threads here at cc talk about the cornell ed myth.
after reading your analysis, they are probably all wrong
I hope they read your post
hey, good luck tomorrow.

sparky…that’s only your school though

I wholeheartedly wish everyone the best of luck tomorrow :)

Englandern,

I am an exception to your assumption.
Therefore you are wrong.

Good luck applicants to the Cornell class of 2015!!! My twin bro applied ED to CAS; it would be great if you all got in!

In regard to the recruited athlete question discussed earlier (and not to beat a dead horse but just to clear up misinformation), there were 223 recruited athletes in the Class of '14. This is in line with previous years, though it flunctuates a little (the number of athletes each Ivy League school can recruit is agreed to by all the Ivy League schools). Guess what? Some apply early. And some apply RD.

In regard to legacies, some apply early and many apply RD. And an overwhelming majority do not apply ED. I know, because I’ve been a CAAAN leader for many years.

That being said, just wanted to wish everyone good luck tomorrow. Many of you will be happy and many of you will be disappointed. But whatever happens, you will end up at the place that is best for you.

Well, I guess all this “myth” will be resolved shortly when the decisions do come out. Are any of us here athletic recruits?

dontfeedsparky: I like that last sentence of your thread even more after reading what you posted on another thread xD

I don’t think athletic recruits would find the need to spend their time here when they are basically in.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA YELLOWSNOWMAN the 4th dimension is fun when we meet at Cornell I’ll welcome you in. And then we’ll go to Collegetown Bagels and clean house.

Thirteen and a half hours left…:S

IT’s 5:15 PM in my country … OMG I am really scared… My SATI result will syrely hurt … just 1940 (first time) and I am international… that hurts more :-(

Best of luck to everyone

10 hours and 5 minutes left :)

I don’t know how I will get through these 9 hours!
What are you going to do, Drelnis?
And are you excited about getting in?! :P

I’m going to be watching some DVDs, chillin, playing the piano, maybe have a long nap, chatting on CC.

I’d LOVE to get in and my hopes are high :)

Drelnis, which school did you apply to? :)
