Rejected! 2250 / 800 M2 / 770 Chem, top 11% :(

@yankee - that sounds like you get to go to your second choice college (if you applied for two colleges, you got accepted to your secondary choice).

rejected (but expected after ED referral)

@yankee4life - how did you get a transfer option??

@yankee4life - Yes, that’s what mine said too. I applied to ILR with no second-choice.

well it’s definitely syracuse for me next year then ;)

Accepted!!!

Waitlisted! Having trouble with the waitlist reply link, says link doesn’t exist?

i only applied to one school: HumEc…so what exactly does this “transfer” thingy mean? would i be guaranteed admission as a junior?

I’m waitlisted as well and the link doesn’t work >.>

accepted! woot

@yankee4life - I guess we’ll find out soon enough! I’m hoping I can transfer as a sophomore…I would have had to have asked for a GT anyway since I’m running for a position as a National Officer for a particular student organization.

Waitlisted. UF here I come.

I think the guaranteed transfer option means you can transfer after one year at another school Not sure if you could take a year off and then enter Cornell.

I just got through to the waitlist reply, what does I plan to enroll at: mean? Another college?

Waitlisted again. Ahh well. Georgia Tech, I guess I am headed your way!

rejected… :frowning: but i got into UPenn though

^^Yeah, on the Waitlist reply from do you put where you plan to enroll if you don’t get in off of the waitlist?

Another waitlist for my son along with MIT and Harvey Mudd. Sometimes I think a reject is easier to take. Just waiting along with many others on U Michigan, but it is time to evaluate the other options…I am so done with this process.

@yankee4life, a Guaranteed Transfer is (I believe) a unique Cornell program. You go off to another college (or community college), maintain a specified GPA, and then, if you want, you are automatically accepted at Cornell as a transfer. I believe the specifics vary–could be after 1 semester or after 1 year at the other college. You will get more details.
