I'm honestly surprised on how so many people were rejected considering my low GPA and SAT score. People much higher than my numbers got in.. Is it possibly because my essay was good? I have no idea....</p>

General Comments/Congratulations/Venting/Commiserations,etc: CONGRATS ALL WHO GOT IN!! For everyone who did not, don't be discouraged. This really seems to be a weird game they are playing. For future applicants, I beg you to start early so you don't rush through like I did then realize a crapload of errors in grammar, etc. on essays. </p>

<p>I don't think I'm going just because it's not my top school, but I'm waiting on UCLA and UCB (long looong shots, I know)!</p>
