I was trying to search for data from last yr, before the decisions were released, and I couldn't find any and thus I started the thread.</p>

<p>General Comments/Congratulations/Venting/Commiserations,etc: Comparing myself to other people who got in (and didn't), I really can't believe that I made the cut. I was pretty sure since BioE was so impacted I wouldn't get in because my SAT scores are sooo low. But I guess I'm the one exception you can say that SAT scores "aren't everything". In summation, if you have killer essayS that emphasize the point that 'engineering is my life' (and your ECs back that up), that can make up for some of your SAT scores. Mine are well below-average than those admitted for BioE, and I don't have many APs either. GPA is decent/good.</p>
