Grrrrrrrrrrr. That really angers me. It used to say by April 1. If I don't find out where I got into college until April 4 then I'm going to have some serious trouble planning where I'm going to visit over spring break...

That's my problem too. I wanted to know if I'm either going to California or New York so I could visit in spring break. I already went to visit the California schools I'm applying there and I mean, I was born there, so I know the area. However, I haven't been to New York ever. =/ But if I don't find out until late, I'll have to make my decision without visiting the schools.

Does anyone know if we can find out by means other than a letter (eg. number to call, website)?

I will not have access to my mailing address from the 18th of March to 15th of April - the worst time ever!

Some schools let you know over the internet. If you have an online account for the school, like the kind that lets you know the status of your application, then it might let you know. Though, some schools don't do this and only notify through mail.

Are Penn and Columbia really on the 4th? I though online decisions came out on March 31st!

Yeah. Check collegeboard.

This is soooooo intense it's not even funny. March 31st will be the day that affects my like until the day i die.

Now I can't stop thinking about everything. I feel like throwing up. @_@

I'm running out and checking the mail every day as soon as it gets here, even when it's snowing (like today, ugh). I'm sure that at some point in late March, I'll just chain myself to the mailbox and bring my laptop with me, in the instance of online decisions.

I felt exactly the same way as the others yesterday. But right before I shut down the computer, I went to check my online status. And I AM ACCEPTED BY UW-SEATTLE. I was so excited! Though it is kinda my safety school. At least I am going somewhere. I am still waiting for the other schools' decision, but i am much comfident now.

35 days...staying positive

ughhhh..i'm leaving for my senior class trip on april 2nd...I hope i'll have them all by then..if not, my trip isn't going to be that funnn

i'm an international student from Argentina.
i've read about colleges notifying only by mail,
which means i would receive my letter on.. mid april?

they usually email internationals

Yeah, mostly you will be able to check decisions online, either by a decisions portal they might set up or in your application status check webpage or by email before you actually receive your decision by mail (postal that is)

34 days until 4/1! I keep a calender in my homework notebook where I cross off each day as it comes and write down the remaining # of days until 4/1 in the box. I have issues.

We're nearing the 1 month mark! I can not take the wait anymore, the though of what schools I will get into CONSUMES me. And I HATE the question "Do you know where you're going to school?" NO! ASK ME IN A MONTH!

Everyone asks me where I'm going and I have no clue. =/

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11111oneonelimx-->0sin(x)/x

Just thought I'd relieve the tension.

I feel the same way. People keep asking me "Do you know where you're going?" or "Have you heard back from anywhere yet?" and it's always like "NO. APRIL. FOR THE 41089237401924TH TIME."
