<p>I am actually considering doing Crew myself–in terms of a V sport–but, it depends where I end up; whether i like the team or not, etc.</p>
<p>Definatly do crew! I’m planning to row myself. I know a couple of the guys on the team from my highschool and it seems like a great group. Would you go for the lightweight team?</p>
<p>Definitely; I’m about 140 right now so that would work. My Dad actually rowed lightweight for Cornell, so I know a fair amount about it.</p>

<p>When should we expect to receive an email from Dartmouth telling us the exact notification date ? They probably don’t release update during the weekend, do they?</p>
<p>I am betting they will tell us the official date of decisions on Sunday.</p>
<p>^Seriously?? You think they’ll send out emails on a Sunday? I was secretly hoping they would follow the same pattern as last year which would have been Friday with a Wednesday notification… FALSE!!!</p>

<p>Yeah. Monday makes sense. Last year, they notified applicants on the 4th before releasing decisions on the 8th. This year, I expect them to tell us on the 6th, and we’ll learn our fates on the 10th.</p>
<p>That’s what I expect as well: 6th-Notification of Time and Date, and 10th-Admissions Decision.

haha I’m naturally a pessimist when it comes to these things, so I don’t think of it that way. =)</p>
<p>I’m not a pessimist, but it’s probably bad for me.</p>
<p>In this regard, I am slightly a pessimist, because I do not want to get my hopes up and have them crushed with a deferral or rejection letter. I pray that I get in, but whatever happens, I will have to accept it and move on…I have faith that the Dartmouth Admissions committee will make the correct decision for me :)</p>

I was kinda hoping to open my decisions the same time my two best friends opened up their Stanford and Brown decisions.</p>

We discussed the date earlier in this thread. We don’t know for sure when they will tell us, but we assume that it will be sometime this week.</p>
